Sam
Sam Speed is our administrative assistant with Steady Hope as well as a licensed professional counselor in Georgia and North Carolina. Her background in the counseling field for 8 years and with recruitment for 5 years uniquely informs her support role with Steady Hope. Sam has worked in a variety of counseling settings including outpatient, inpatient, intensive outpatient, and in private practice throughout her career. She is passionate about connecting clients with their ideal therapist not only with Steady Hope, but also in her professional work. Sam believes in the power of connecting with individual’s stories and with supporting them on their journeys of writing a new story for themselves. She believes that hope is at the center of forward momentum and change and that if we can humbly accept the offer of hope, we can navigate through the most challenging trials with more grace, courage, and healing.
In Sam's free time, she enjoys cooking and hosting guests in her home, getting outside with her family (hiking or just going around town), and enjoying quality time with her husband, son and active pup!
OUR LOCATION
We're proud to be located at the heart of Oakhurst in Decatur, Georgia. Our office is conveniently located near I-20 and I-285. Our counselors are licensed in the state of Georgia and offer tele-mental health services to clients residing across the state.
