“Experiences such as grief and loss, anxiety, and major life change can feel so tiring. I believe that counseling can be that one place where you come as you are, take a deep breath, and heal with no outside expectations."

I help young people experiencing grief, transitions, and trauma to cultivate self-compassion and find the best next steps for them. Experiencing grief and trauma is like being part of a club you never asked to be in. Your
emotions might feel completely overwhelming or totally numbed out. Either way, you’re finding yourself looking for ways to heal and find a new normal that makes sense.
I am passionate about working with folks seeking trauma recovery, healing from grief, or just
navigating intense emotional highs and lows. My style in therapy is approachable and laid back, while honoring how tender it is to open up. I believe it is life-changing to learn to access curiosity, befriend our grief, and embrace our inner child. As a person-centered therapist, I
always maintain that you are the expert on your experiences. In order to create opportunities for
different kinds of healing, I incorporate different trauma-informed modalities including EMDR, parts work, and DBT.
I feel so blessed to learn from my clients’ bravery in the counseling space. It can be so difficult to make a step towards counseling; this is a soft place to land.
I enjoys working with clients of all ages. I have the most experience working with ages 8-30 years old who are experiencing things such as grief and loss, anxiety, and stage of life changes. I education have a Bachelors of Social Work and a Masters of Social Work from the University of Georgia.

Outside of the therapy room, I love to spend time with my rescue dog, play guitar, and bake.
