Therapeutic approaches: Internal Family Systems (IFS), Trauma and Attachment-Informed Care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Somatic Interventions
If you’re feeling stuck or quietly holding it all together, you’re not alone—and I’m glad you’re here seeking support. You may be carrying grief or navigating life challenges that feel overwhelming and exhausting. Perhaps you’re mourning a loss—of a loved one, a version of yourself, or the life you imagined. Or maybe becoming a mother or navigating adulthood has stirred up anxiety, sadness, or a sense of disconnection you didn’t expect.
Outside of the therapy room, I find grounding in my garden—working with the earth as a way to connect with my body, create space for reflection, and plant seeds as a gesture of hope. I view therapy similarly: a safe, compassionate space where nothing needs to be rushed and where all parts of you are welcome. Together, we’ll explore ways for you to create grounding and safety both within and beyond our sessions.
Many of the clients I work with are women who are quietly strong—the ones who might find it difficult to ask for help. They’re looking for an encouraging, reflective space to process life difficulties, build confidence, and develop tools for navigating stress and anxiety. They tend to appreciate a holistic approach to care and integration of both mind and body.
I tailor therapy to each unique person sitting across from me, using trauma- and attachment-informed approaches to provide thoughtful, effective care. My background includes work in both private practice and higher levels of care for eating disorders and trauma treatment. In our work together, we’ll gently explore your inner world, honoring what you’ve been through, and build tools to help you move out of survival mode and into a more connected, meaningful life.
“Trauma is not what happens to us, but what we hold inside in the absence of an empathetic witness.”
-Peter Levine
