CONTACT

As a therapist, Jenny cultivates an environment of warmth, compassion, and curiosity in her time with clients. Life is complex and we all have a story, both told and untold, that impacts how we view self and others. Jenny desires to be a place of presence and empathy as one's stories are shared and processed. Having walked through her own seasons of grief, pain, and growth, she knows deeply the emotions that come with being human in this world. Jenny sees therapy as a safe haven to experience groundedness, grow a deeper understanding of self, and gain the tools necessary to live a connected and meaningful life.

Jenny is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia and a graduate of Richmont Graduate University with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.  She has experience in both private practice as well as higher levels of care including eating disorder and trauma treatment at the inpatient, residential, and partial hospitalization levels of care. Jenny now specializes in therapy for women’s issues, maternal mental health, grief and loss, life transitions, anxiety, and depression.

Jenny uses an individualized approach with her clients pulling from therapeutic modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and attachment theory.  She sees clients through a trauma-informed lens and utilizes somatic interventions to deepen the connection between mind and body.

Outside of the therapy room, Jenny enjoys growing flowers and vegetables in her garden, yoga and long walks in nature, time with her husband and daughter, and enjoying a latte over shared conversation with friends.

“Trauma is not what happens to us, but what we hold inside in the absence of an empathetic witness.”
