"I believe everyone makes sense. In sessions, it is my goal to collaborate with my client to develop an understanding of their feelings, thoughts, and actions within the context of their past and who they are. I work to cultivate a safe space, staying curious with my clients and holding space for life's challenges. You have everything you need to heal and grow. It is my privilege to walk alongside you and provide support in your healing journey."
Everyone needs to feel safe and loved. Lauren uses an attachment theory approach to identify past wounds that have challenged these core needs. Lauren’s approach is collaborative, compassionate, and culturally sensitive. She strives to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences openly. Through the work done in counseling there is an opportunity to learn more about family dynamics, conflict styles, identity, boundaries, coping strategies, and resilience.
Lauren's background in diverse healthcare settings have given her a passion for cultivating self-care and preventative strategies, building on what is going right while addressing what is going wrong in life.
In her free time she is baking, reading, or running. She also loves spending time outside and trying new coffee shops. .
