CONTACT

Lauren strongly believe everyone makes sense. In sessions it is her goal to collaborate with a client so we both develop understanding of their feelings, thoughts, and actions within the context of their past and who they are. She works hard to cultivate a safe space, staying curious with clients and holding space for life's challenges.

She is confident that the person she gets to work with has everyone they need to heal and grow, it is her privilege to walk alongside them in whatever phase of their journey they are in.

She has found that our family of origin and past shapes how we view the world. Everyone needs to feel safe and loved, and when making space for this belief, she finds that everyone makes sense.

Whatever we do to feel safe is valid and I believe that with support we can heal deep wounds to better meet our own needs and develop resilience to flourish. This means listening to own bodies and our feelings, tuning into core fears that try to take over at times and cause unhealthy habits, and developing new ways to care for ourselves well.

Lauren’s approach is collaborative, compassionate, and culturally sensitive. She strives to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences openly. Through the work done in counseling is an opportunity to learn more about family dynamics, conflict styles, internal work of identity, boundaries, coping strategies, and resilience.

In her free time she is baking something she saw on The Great British Baking Show, reading, or running. She also loves spending time outside and trying new coffee shops.
